In Deutschland ist Carsten Werner für die Arbeit von Buckner/Saat der Hoffnung zuständig
Wir sind in den folgenden Bereichen aktiv:
Wir versorgen die Freunde und Förderer von Buckner/SdH mit Informationen über die
Hilfesprojekte in Kitale und anderen Bereichen Kenias, und halten den Kontakt aufrecht
zwischen den Waisenkindern und ihren Unterstützern
So versenden wir regelmäßig Freundesbriefe und Briefe von den Kindern für
ihre "Pateneltern"
We create awareness of the ongoing work for the sake of AIDS – orphans and destitute children in Kenya and Easterm Europe
We try to reach churches, schools and individuals by visits, presentations and special campaigns:
In 2010 our youth choir “Sounds of Hope” will visit Germany and give
concerts in 19 towns. They also produced a CD with African Gospel Music,
which can be ordered through our German office.
We want to reach especially young people with the goal to stir up solidarity and compassion with those who are less advantaged and who need our help.
Our Western Society needs Christian values like selfless love and caring for the weak and we strongly believe that offering the opportunity to help will also bless the giver.
We offer mission trips to Kenya and other parts of the world. Buckner has many years of experience in this field, so that interested people in Germany can benefit from this.
From 05th- 18th December 2009 a group of people will go to Seed of Hope in Kenya and celebrate Christmas with the children. This trip will be done annually.
We also offer a mission trip to St. Petersburg to bring presents and our love many orphanages there and to visit the historical places of this “Venice of the North”.
We welcome interns and prospective group leaders to take part in the ongoing worldwide work of Buckner. We will prepare and equip you to go out for short or longterm missions and we will assist you with all you need to have a safe and exciting time in the field.
